Due to your overwhelming response in making Roosters Rest a favorite getaway, we now offer our new cabin that sleeps up to six.

 

Located on the east side of our 20 acres, "Bass House" overlooks its own private pond.  From the front porch you will enjoy relaxing in the rockers while watching Lola and Zeik (our resident horses), as you escape to the quiet of "Old Crow" meadows.

 

Built from 6 x 12 logs and featuring a stacked stone fireplace, "Bass House" takes you back to a time when life was simpler.  Our comments from guests almost always describe our cabins as peaceful, relaxing, clean and cozy and a great value!  We invite you to discover for yourself that the "Bass House" at Roosters Rest is a very special place.

 

Amenities Include:

Queen Bed in separate bedroom, two twin beds in sleep loft, (if you decide to bring the kids along), futon with full size mattress in living area.  You will also enjoy the fireplace, central heat and ac, satellite TV, DVD/VCR.  A stove, refrigerator and microwave are provided for baking or you can enjoy one of the several nearby restaurants for your meals.  Coffee, a toaster, salt and pepper and most needed utensils round out the kitchen supplies.  Miniature sized shampoos, soaps, and a hair dryer are furnished in the bath and if needed you will find an iron and ironing board in the closet.  We try to provide everything that you will need to facilitate light travel. 

 

"Bass House" guests also have access to our fully stocked bass pond where they may fish for the "big ones" for a small fee.
